There was even greater excitement in Singur and Nandigram: Balram; Rijal | VT Balram

VT Balram, the Congress leader, reacted to the DYFI’s beating of leaders, including Youth Congress leader Rijal Makutty, who witnessed him at the Silver Line explanatory meeting in Noor. BJP activists, along with CPM workers, have been active in cyberspace praising the beating. It was after this that Balram came to the scene, reminding the CPM of some things.

Balram’s post was accompanied by a historical reply from P. Krishnapillai. Balram said that those who justified the violence perpetrated by the CPM and DYFI goons against the Youth Congress workers who peacefully protested against the K-Rail in Kannur and mocked the protesters were just a timely repetition of what Krishna Pillai had said in the past.

Ridgel McCutcheon reacted on social media to allegations of harassment during the protest. He will not go to his house or his family’s place. The struggle is for the tens of thousands who will be evicted. Rijal also said that comrades and gangs should not think that they can be subdued by intimidation or destroyed by violence.

During the Guruvayur Satyagraha of the Congress demanding entry to the temple, a young Congress volunteer named P Krishnapillai rang the bell inside the temple. Krishnapillai was not barred from entering the temple even then. But those Satyagrahis came forward against caste domination on behalf of all human beings other than themselves.

The goons of the caste leaders reacted to Krishna Pillai’s peaceful protest movement with brutal repression. He was attacked by a group of men. When asked about being persecuted by other Nair leaders despite being a Nair himself, Krishna Pillai replied that it was part of history. His response was, “The lively Nair will ring the bell and the leaf will gnaw the Nair out.”

What Krishna Pillai has to say to those who justify the violence perpetrated by the CPM and DYFI goons against the Youth Congress workers who peacefully protested against the K Rail in Kannur today and ridicule those who came to protest is only a timely repetition of what was said in the past. Vigorous youth organizations will raise their voices for the people, and K-Bhoot’s youth organizations will expel them.

Let us not forget that Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, accompanied by a larger militia, sought to challenge the people of Bengal at Singur and Nandigram. This world has often had to see history repeat itself.

My house or family’s place is not going away. The struggle is for the tens of thousands who will be evicted. If Pinarayi Vijayan tries to suppress DYFI goons, he will not back down even if he has to die in the struggle. This is a strike announced by the KPCC President, Leader of the Opposition and the UDF. The struggle is being attacked by cowards. Sanghis are happier than comrades. Therefore, my position is in favor of the right. It is against the Pinarayi government which is evicting.

It is against the Sangh Parivar who beat people in the name of food. We will definitely fight against it. Do not look for comrades or gangs to intimidate, subdue or attack. Then there are the gangs who beat Yachuri and Pinarayi’s gangs in Kerala who shot Jayakrishnan Master. That is why the slogans chanted by the Sanghs in remembrance of Jayakrishnan Master are not against the comrades but against the Muslims? Pinarayi police protected the gangs without even imposing UAPA. This is reddish gray saffron.
