There will be no regular service of KSRTC tomorrow

All stay services, including long-distance services, will start from the depots after 6pm on Monday

Thiruvananthapuram: In the wake of the Samyukta Karsha Samithi calling for a hartal in the state in support of the farmers’ strike, the normal KSRTC service will not be available from 6 am to 6 pm tomorrow.

KSRTC said in a statement that the move was taken as there was no possibility of overcrowding and staff shortages.

Essential services will be allowed only on the instructions of the police. The KSRTC also said that limited local services on the main route would be sent only with police escort, focusing on hospitals, railway stations and airports falling under the respective units.

All stay services, including long-distance services, will start from the depots after 6pm on Monday. KSRTC also said that staff and buses have been arranged at the units to send additional long-distance services in case of overcrowding.
