This city belongs to everyone, together make the Charter of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab

People’s Party nominated Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that this city belongs to everyone and everyone should make the Charter of Karachi together.

According to ARY News, Sindh government spokesperson and People’s Party-nominated Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab while addressing the cutting ceremony in Karachi said that People’s Party, Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI have mandate in Karachi. I still say discard the ego and focus on service, work and improvement of the city. This city belongs to everyone, so let’s all make the Charter of Karachi for its development.

Murtaza Wahab said that I am not Sheikh Rasheed or Naeemur Rehman who predicts that I will become the mayor but there is a difference of 43 seats between us and Jamaat-e-Islami and Inshallah PP will take over the leadership of Karachi Municipality on June 15. I have not sewn the sherwani yet.

Murtaza Wahab said that he does not claim to flow rivers of milk and honey in the next 4 years, but the improvement will definitely be seen, but if the people of Jamaat-e-Islami protest daily, how will the work go on. If it does not happen that I remove the rudder, Jamaat-e-Islami should recommend. Now we have to get out of the politics of sit-ins, protests and blaming.

He said that the leadership of People’s Party trusted me for which I am grateful to Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto. In this city, every class of businessmen and laborers is ours. Your voice is present in the federation and the province and after June 15 your voice will be strong in Karachi as well. We will work on commercial viability in Karachi.
