Thiruvananthapuram: Those who disrespected Bhagat Singh are now making a fuss over Bhagat Singh, says Assembly Speaker MB Rajesh. Rajesh’s response came after Yuva Morcha lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police alleging that he had insulted Bhagat Singh by comparing him to Wariamkunnan.
MB Rajesh pointed out that there are many similarities in the deaths of Wariamkunnan and Bhagat Singh and that he compared those similarities.
Wariamkunnan said that before shooting, one should shoot from the front without being blindfolded. Bhagat Singh had written a letter to the governor saying that instead of hanging him, he should be shot. He pointed out this similarity in the deaths of the two. “Some people get upset when they hear that they have been bullied,” he said.
The BJP vice-president’s response was historic. He said that it was not a love affair with Bhagat Singh but an attempt to create communal polarization.
