But Sudeep’s reply was as follows.

“Dear Ajay Devgn Sir, I understand your tweet in Hindi. Because we have come to respect, love and learn Hindi. But don’t get me wrong, what if I reply to your tweet in Kannada? Aren’t we in India too, sir? ”

Sudeep’s statement highlighted the huge success of RRR, KGF and Bahubali films. Bollywood films claiming to be pan-Indian movies are being remade in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam but are not successful today. Sudeep asked how Hindi can be said to be the national language in the light of current Pan-Indian films. Ajay Devgn later criticized Sudeep for not forgetting that Hindi is the national language. Ajay Devgn also asked why Kannada films are being translated into Hindi if Hindi is not important.
