Thousands flee Pakistan-Afghanistan border to escape Taliban: Satellite images released

New Delhi: Satellite images of Afghan civilians trying to escape from the Taliban have been released. Satellite images of thousands stranded on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border have been released.

Afghans have been fleeing the country en masse since the Taliban seized power last month. These are the pictures from the September 6 border between Afghanistan and Pakistan on the Chaman border in Baldak.

NDTV reported that the images indicated that thousands of Afghan nationals were trying to flee Afghanistan. The Chaman border at Spin Boldak is one of the busiest borders between Afghanistan and Pakistan. But the Chaman border post was recently closed by Pakistan.
