Through the Holy Eucharist we must ascend to Christ; The pope said that Christ should be recognized in others

Vatican City: Pope Francis has proclaimed the presence of Christ in Divine Mercy and the need to recognize Christ in those we meet in life. The pope also reminded that every Christian should seek the ashes of Christ through the Holy Eucharist. Angelus was delivering his message based on the Gospel passage, which marks the response of the crowd and disciples to Jesus’ sermon after the miracle of the bread.

The people celebrated the miracle of Jesus, who fed thousands of people with five loaves of bread and two fish, and wanted to make him king. But they could not contain the revelation that the miracle was a sign of his sacrifice, that is, the gift of his flesh and blood. His words that the bread he gives is his flesh and blood upset them. Many are turning away from Iso. But Jesus’ 12 chosen disciples did not leave him.

What motivated some to choose to follow Jesus? Uthappa is the incarnation of God. He humbled himself to become a human being like us, humiliating himself until he took over our suffering and sin. But they could not contain the revelation about this incarnation. This makes it clear that in order to be able to communicate with God, one must have a real and tangible relationship with Him. Because salvation is through Him, through His incarnation. The human incarnation is an invitation to recognize Christ in others.

This means that we should not follow God in our dreams and images of greatness and power, but in the humanity of Jesus, in the brethren we meet. The quest for God is not outside of life and history. Rather, it is a relationship with Christ and his brethren. We must seek Him in life, in history, in our daily lives. He added that the only way to meet God is to have a relationship with Christ and our brothers.
