Tightening of control: Weekend curfew in Kerala and Maharashtra border districts

Bangalore : Karnataka tightens controls in Kerala and Maharashtra Weekend curfew will be imposed in the districts bordering the two states. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomme after a meeting of the Kovid Technical Committee.

A complete curfew will be imposed on Saturday and Sunday. Chamarajanagar, Mysore, Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada districts, which share a border with Kerala, will come under control.
