Star Tim David made his Twenty20 league debut with a fireworks innings. The all-rounder, who was a member of the Singapore national team, made his Twenty20 debut for Australia. The Aussies were part of the team to play in the match against India. David, aged 26

Born in Singapore. Lived in Australia since the age of 2. Debuted in the Singapore national team last year. He scored 558 runs at an average of 46.5 from 14 Twenty20 matches. Scored four half-centuries. In the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians star David also shone in the Caribbean Premier League and the Big Bash League.

In the last mega star auction, Mumbai Indians got the star for 8.25 crore rupees. Former players including Ricky Ponting offered the call to bring Tim into the team before the World Cup. Tim, who is also a spinner, took five wickets in Twenty20.
