“Time to say goodbye”… Lung cancer comedian Kim Chul-min Silent live broadcast [영상]

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Comedian and singer Kim Cheol-min, who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and is battling the disease, made fans sad by sharing his current situation through SNS.

On the 16th, Kim Chul-min conducted a live broadcast on YouTube with the title of ‘The time for farewell is coming’.

On this day’s broadcast, Kim Chul-min stared at the camera for about 7 minutes without saying anything, sometimes breathing heavily.

He also captured the needle and ringer in his arm on camera.

Fans who watched the live broadcast left supportive comments such as “Hurry up and get up and sing” and “Make sure you overcome it”.

Earlier, in August 2019, Kim Chul-min revealed that he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.

He also stated in a video at the National Assembly inspection of the Ministry of Health and Welfare in October last year, “I took fenbendazole, an animal repellent, and the cancer grew bigger.”

Kim Cheol-min made his debut as a comedian in the 5th MBC recruitment program in 1994, and it is known that his older brother, Hoon-a Ne, a singer-songwriter, and his family all died of cancer.
