In the representative prayer, Pastor Oh said, “I want Candidate Yoon to become a family of faith.” He said, “Give us grace so that liberal democracy can be maintained in Korea, and as a presidential candidate, you have given us wisdom and understanding to be used preciously for the Korean church. We ask the Lord to be with us so that we can renew the history of the nation.”

“Please awaken the wisdom of Solomon to win the hearts of the people,” he added.

After the fact of the laying on of hands was revealed, controversy arose all over the internet.

Those who criticize the act of ordination prayer have voiced voices such as “It will destroy all the shame of the Korean church” and “It seems that those who privatize the church are claiming power in advance.”

On the other hand, contradictory responses such as “It is a good thing that I received the prayer of laying on hands by influential spiritual leaders in the religious world” and “I hope your prayers reach heaven.”
