Today, Deogyusan Seolcheonbong.

After a blizzard passes, a picturesque landscape unfolds.

Heavy snowfall continued during the day on Baengnyeongdo Island in Incheon.

Cold air below minus 30 degrees Celsius rushed into the Korean Peninsula, creating ‘comb-shaped snow clouds’ that can only be seen in the middle of winter in the West Sea.

“If the temperature difference between the sea level and the 1.5km altitude is 15 degrees or more, it is a condition for the development of snow clouds. This time, it is about 25 degrees wide, so the development is better.”

A heavy snow advisory will also be issued for Chungcheong and Honam, which will be the first to face these strong snow clouds.

In particular, it is expected that snow will be concentrated in the early morning of tomorrow, so there is concern about inconvenience on the way to work.

Estimated snowfall is up to 10cm in eastern Jeollabuk-do, Gyeonggi Anseong and Pyeongtaek, northern Chungcheongbuk-do and central Chungcheongbuk-do, and Jeju mountain range 2 to 7, and southwestern Gyeonggi-do and western Gyeongnam inland 1 to 5cm.

In the northern part of the metropolitan area, including Seoul, there will be only a little snow.

The cold will get worse tonight, and many areas, including Seoul, will see below freezing for the first time this fall.

Seoul will drop to minus 4 degrees, Paju, Gyeonggi-do to minus 7 degrees, and Daegu and Ulsan to 0 degrees.

With the addition of a sharp wind, Daegwallyeong’s sensible temperature will approach minus 20 degrees Celsius.

A cold wave advisory has also been issued in the eastern regions of Gyeongsang Province such as Busan and Ulsan, as well as in Donghae and Samcheok in Gangwon.

The snow is expected to stop again tomorrow night, and the cold is expected to continue through the week.
