Tomorrow, September 19, in the public institution “Centar of Culture and Youth”, an exhibition of students of the School of Comics will be opened, as well as a scientific-educational-entertainment lecture (ZEZ) by professor Vedran Zubić.
The school of comics started working in 2019 and has been gathering young lovers of the ninth art ever since. In addition to learning how to draw comics, participants have the opportunity to present their work to the general public through exhibitions and published comics.
At this exhibition, visitors can see works created in the previous period, published in a joint project called “Spirit of Sarajevo”, then strip-boards and illustrations of a more recent date, as well as digital illustrations of the artistic director of the school, Maja Pavlović. The exhibition will be opened at 19:00.
Also, tomorrow, primary and secondary school students will hang out with professor Vedran Zubić, through a scientific-educational-entertaining lecture (ZEZ). The theme is performed on stage as a scientific (teaching) unit in the form of a monologue. ZEZ presents a theatrical performance with applications of humor, such as a professor’s monologue on given topics from science, such as climate change, Earth movements, geotectonics, population structure, sea water movement, and the like. Lectures start at 5 pm and are open to the public. The mentioned lecture will be held on September 26.
