Birmingham: Tottenham beat Manchester City in a thrilling English Premier League match. Mourinho’s side beat Pep Guardiola’s side by two goals to nothing.

City were at the top of the table in a head-to-head encounter with the legendary coaches but they forgot to score. Tottenham took the lead in the fifth minute through Sun Hyung-Min. City scored in the 27th minute but were denied a handball when it became clear that War was a handball.

Tottenham’s second goal came in the 65th minute. Giovanni Lo Silso scored the second goal with an assist from Harry Kane.

City lost after holding the ball 66% of the time and making 22 attempts. Tottenham have conceded just four goals. Two of them found the target. Tottenham are top of the league. City are in 11th place.

In another match, Manchester United defeated West Ham by a single goal. Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty in the 56th minute to give United the lead. United are currently in ninth place. Chelsea beat United 2-1 in Newcastle last night. Chelsea are second in the points table.

Beaten to Barcelona

Beat Barcelona in the Spanish League. Atletico Madrid beat Barcelona by a single goal. Atletico Madrid’s winning goal was scored by Janic Carrasco in the first half.

This is Barcelona’s third defeat of the season. They have won just three of their last eight matches. Barcelona are 10th in the league.

Borussia Dortmund beat Hertha Berlin 5-2 in the Bundesliga. Dot Mund scored all five goals in the second half. Rafael Guerrero (70) also netted for Dortmund as Erling Holland (47,49,62,79) scored four goals. Mathews Cunha (33,79) scored both of Hertha’s goals.
