The Tragic Death of Actor Vinod Thomas
Actor Vinod Thomas, known for his notable roles in the Malayalam film industry, was found dead in his car outside a hotel in Pampadi, Kottayam. The post-mortem investigation revealed that Thomas died from inhaling toxic fumes emitted by the car’s AC machine.
Thomas arrived at the hotel around 11 AM on Sunday and subsequently entered his car, activating the AC. It is believed that he succumbed to the toxic fumes, including carbon monoxide, as a result of inhaling the contaminated air.
Of eerie coincidence is the fact that Thomas had performed a similar death scene in front of the camera seven years prior in a short film. In 2016, he portrayed the lead role in “Life-Live Fearless,” a short film that highlighted the dangers of inhaling smoke from sources such as short circuits, gas fires, and vehicle AC units.
Authorities are now working to raise awareness about the potential hazards of inhaling toxic fumes and are urging the public to exercise caution when using AC units and being in closed spaces with running engines.
