Truck crashes into house on slope, 1 dead

A truck that was stopped on the downhill slipped and rushed into a house, and a woman in her 60s was hit and killed by a truck passing by.

The truck driver testified that the accident occurred while he was away for a short time after stopping the car during a police investigation.

The front windshield of the truck was severely cracked and the front part was badly damaged.

At around 7 am this morning, a 4.5-ton truck parked on a slope in Dongnae-gu, Busan suddenly moved.

After crashing into a woman in her 60s while walking on the street, the truck broke through the wall of the house 80 meters away and barely stopped in front of the front door of the house.

It is the scene of the accident. Walls have been shattered as a truck loaded with poklanes rushes into the house.

“My heart is trembling, my hands are shaking, and people are… the sound of thunder and lightning. I was startled.”

A woman in her 60s, who was hit by a truck, was taken to a hospital but died.

“While ‘thumping’, I heard a sound of a building or something just collapsing.

A truck driver in his 50s stated that he stopped the car and left the driver’s seat for a while to find a place to park.

[경찰 관계자]

“Even if there is a slight incline, there is a possibility of slipping, and in that case, there is a Pokane with a lot of luggage on it…”

The police have booked the truck driver on suspicion of death and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
