The environmental assessment of Zhuke Baoshan’s Phase 2 expansion plan has passed, and the changes have been reviewed and approved by the Ministry of the Interior. Wang Yongzhuang said that the land agreement price acquisition process will be carried out in the future, and 50% of the landlords have signed the letter of intent, and hope it can be completed by the end of this year. Purchase at a negotiated price, and acquire all the land in the middle of next year for land preparation for public works. The land area exceeds 90 hectares.

TSMC is currently carrying out the Baoshan Phase 1 expansion plan, the 8th and 9th phases of the Fab 12, and the 8th phase is the originally planned R&D center, which is expected to be completed successively this year. The Baoshan Phase 2 expansion plan is to build land for a wafer fab for the production of a 2-nanometer process.
