Police allege assault on non-halal board Widespread communal propaganda under the cover of the incident

Kakkanad: The Infopark police said that the news that the youth attacked the women entrepreneur Thushara Nandu for setting up a non-halal board is false. During the investigation, the police found that Thushara had fabricated himself to gain media attention. Thushara, her husband and a friend attacked the youths in connection with running a shop on the ground floor near Infopark and mutilated one of them. The police said that the story was fabricated to obstruct the smooth investigation of the case.

Thushara, her husband Ajith and two others had demolished the Panipuri stall of Nakul, a young man selling Bombay Chat and Belpuri at a food court on the ground floor. Nakul, who was questioned, and his friend Binoj George were attacked and severely mutilated. Nakul and his friend then filed a case alleging assault, indecent exposure and insulting femininity.

An investigation by Infopark police found that the attack was carried out by Thushara, her husband Ajith and associates. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a food court. However, police said there were cases pending against the Food Court over its ownership and operation. Binoj George, who was critically injured in the attack, is undergoing treatment after surgery.

Thushara’s husband Ajit Cheranalloor is accused in several cases, including a murder registered by the police, and there are several criminal cases against his co-accused Appu, police said.

At the same time, there is a huge campaign in the national media in Kerala to attack the hotel owner who has set up a non-halal board. Thushara Nandu’s video message has been widely circulated with hateful remarks that the government and the police, which protect the jihadists, are destroying the Hindus who have gone, and that every Hindu should recognize this.
