The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) predicts that the number of deaths from COVID-19 will rise significantly after the Thanksgiving holiday is over.

So far, more than 770,000 people have died from coronavirus in the United States.

This year alone, 386,000 people have died from Corona, exceeding 385,000 people who died last year.

The share of deaths from coronavirus in the United States has risen from 11 percent last year to 13 percent this year.

In addition, the CDC expects the death toll to rise from 20,000 to up to 50,000 more after the holidays and before Christmas, and in the worst case, up to 820,000.

“The most tragic is that deaths that could have been prevented by vaccines are still going on. People who are not vaccinated are 14 times more likely to die from COVID-19.”

In the next four weeks, more than 12,000 new hospitalizations are expected.

While the vaccination rate is still low, the number of travelers has increased significantly over the holidays, and the number of patients is expected to surge as mask wearing and social distancing are relaxed.

The vaccination rate for the entire U.S. population is 59 percent, the lowest among the seven major countries.

In the United States, booster shots are allowed for all adults, and children under the age of 12 are also vaccinated.

However, vaccination rates are seldom rising as people who reject the vaccine still do not come forward.
