US troops bombed the capital of Hasaka province in northeastern Syria on the pretext of a terrorist jailbreak, completely destroying local university facilities. Syrian state television announced.

According to media reports, US military aircraft completely destroyed the facilities of a technical university in Hasakah City, Hasakah Province. The U.S. military carried out air strikes on the pretext that terrorists had fled the local prison and were pursuing it.

The U.S. Department of Defense admits the fact that it carried out air strikes in northeastern Syria under the pretext of pursuing terrorists.

The prison is reportedly under the control of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF), which consists of Arabs and Kurds.

On the evening of the 20th, the Syrian state broadcaster reported that terrorists attempted to escape from a prison in Hasakah province. There is no certainty that the terrorists actually succeeded in jailbreaking, according to US officials. According to some data, a suicide bomber blew up a vehicle near the prison, killing and injuring several SDF soldiers. The international terrorist organization Da’esh (banned in IS, Islamic State and Russia) has issued a statement of crime regarding the attack on prisons.

US military-backed SDFs are partially under the control of Al-Hasakah and most of Raqqa in northeastern Syria, as well as Aleppo in the north and Deir Ezor in the east. The Syrian government has not endorsed SDF autonomy.
