US Secretary of State Blincoln gave a series of interviews to major US broadcasters on Sunday, saying that a Russian invasion of Ukraine would result in a united US and European response.

“If even one Russian soldier enters Ukraine in an aggressive manner, it will, as I have already said, result in a swift, harsh and united response.”

I also thought that the Beijing Winter Olympics would not be a factor in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

There are speculations that Russia will invade China and avoid the Olympic period, but Blincoln said, “Russia will act according to its own interests rather than the Olympics.”

In fact, Russia invaded Georgia during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

The situation in Ukraine has grown even more tense after the US-Russian foreign ministers’ talks in Geneva last week ended without tangible results.

The US State Department has begun considering evacuating Ukrainian embassy staff and their families, and Russia is said to have already withdrawn some embassy staff in Ukraine.

Weapons are being brought into Ukraine one after another.

Weapons and munitions such as missiles and ammunition supported by the United States were brought into Ukraine, and Russian high-tech fighters gathered in Belarus, north of Ukraine.

President Biden stayed at his vacation home, Camp David, over the weekend to continue discussing the response to the Ukraine crisis.
