Washington: The United States has asked its citizens to return to Russia immediately. The new US demand comes as Russia’s offensive against Ukraine intensifies and aviation facilities decline.
The U.S. embassy in Moscow said U.S. citizens should leave Russia as soon as possible on the currently available flights. The embassy issued the directive to US citizens in the wake of the cancellation of flights from Russia and flights to Russia following the Russian occupation of Ukraine. Various countries have closed their air routes to Russian planes, and US citizens are being asked to leave Russia on board as soon as possible. In the wake of the war, Americans traveling to the Ukrainian border and to Russia have been warned to be vigilant.
