India won the first ever ICC Under-19 T20 World Cup title. The historic feat was achieved by defeating England in the match held in South Africa. The in-form team suffered only one defeat in the tournament. The team, which gave a great performance in the final, made the victory easy in the hands of the bowlers. Indian captain Shefali Verma won the toss and decided to field first. England were sent to bat. The Indian bowlers dominated the English batsmen, fully justifying the captain’s decision. England’s batting line-up, shaky from the start, crumbled like a house of cards. England were bowled out for just 68 runs in 17.1 overs.
