Abu Dhabi: UAE announced free flu vaccine for special groups including health workers. UAE citizens and residents under high-risk categories will receive free flu shots through a national awareness campaign by Emirates Health Services (EHS).

The announcement is part of the implementation of the EHS’s comprehensive plan to control infectious diseases, including influenza. Pregnant women, UAE nationals, people with disabilities, people over the age of 50, children under the age of five, healthcare workers and people with chronic diseases can get the flu vaccine free of charge.
