Ubisoft will start the service of the free-to-play PvP sports game “Roller Champions” on May 25th.
Cross-play is possible on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation4, PlayStation5 (backward compatible), and PC (Ubisoft Store). “Roller Champions” will be compatible with Nintendo Switch later.
“Roller Champions” is a 3 to 3 team battle, in which the ball is put into the goal to compete for points, and the team that reaches 5 points first becomes the winner. The more you keep the ball in the team and go around the oval arena, the higher the points at the goal. Get the victory by riding speed and making full use of various tackles and cooperating with your teammates.
If you win the match and move up in rank, you will be able to challenge even more famous stadiums and leagues, and finally aim for the elite champion league. In the process, you can enjoy acquiring fans, new maps, limited-time modes, and character customization. There will also be a number of unlockable items and limited rewards that can be earned with a roller pass for each season.
In “Roller Champions”, you can play with opponents and friends of similar ranks by cross-play matchmaking. Also, cross-progression is applied on all platforms. At the skatepark, which acts as a social hub, players can interact, practice, and play mini-games.
