UEFA president disagrees with hosting the World Cup every two years, decreasing the value of the tournament
Aleksander Ceferin, president of the European Football Federation (UEFA), has said he disagrees with FIFA’s approach to adjusting the World Cup from every four years to a second tournament. Once a year, because the value of the World Cup comes from not playing too often, if it is played twice a year, it will reduce the value of the World Cup itself.
