Uhm Jung-hwa remembered the first broadcast of ‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’.
In the special feature of tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’, episode 197 of ‘Don’t Give Up’, aired on the 7th (Wednesday), Korea’s top diva, Uhm Jung-hwa, Karimi Anwal, who came to Korea from Iran for 25 years, and Lieutenant Colonel Moon Gi-ho of the Armed Forces Trauma Center appeared at the Capital Hospital of the Armed Forces and held an exchange conversation with MCs Yoo Jae-seok and Jo Se-ho.
On this day, Uhm Jung-hwa smiled brightly, saying, “It’s so good.” This is because the recently ended drama ‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’ received a lot of love. When Yoo Jae-seok said that the drama was a syndrome-like curiosity, Uhm Jung-hwa was delighted, saying, “What is this?”
In addition, Uhm Jung-hwa revealed that there are similarities with Cha Jeong-sook’s character in the drama. She said, “Cha Jeong-sook also became a doctor after 20 years of being a housewife. I feel like I’ve had such a warm response in 20 years.”
Uhm Jung-hwa said that she was very nervous during the first broadcast of ‘Doctor Cha Jeong-suk’ and said, “At that time, I was filming ‘Dance Singer’s Wandering Troupe’. The director and fellow actors sent messages told me they liked it so much. The article came out well too. I couldn’t record it,” he said.
