British retail investors’ XRP holdings rose 4% in the second quarter, up 105% from a year ago, making it the most popular stock, according to a report recently released by asset investment platform eToro.
Along with XRP, the preferred cryptocurrency for UK investors is Cardano (ADA).
Itoro cryptocurrency market analyst Simon Peters explained that there appears to be a strong support group among UK investors who believe in the long-term potential of XRP.
XRP started at $0.22 this year, peaked at $1.9 in April, and then went into a major correction in May.
Since then, XRP, which has been on a steady upward trend since the end of July, currently trades at $1.13 and has a market cap of $50 billion.
