Zelenskiy spoke after speaking with senior officials from BAE, including Chief Executive Charles Woodburn.
“A really big weapons manufacturer. This is the kind of weapon we need now and we will continue to need,” Selensky said in the evening video.
“We are working on building a suitable center in Ukraine for production and repair. This includes a wide variety of weapons. From tanks to artillery,” he added. Zelenskiy did not give further details.
Earlier, Zelenskiy said that both sides agreed to start the work of opening BAE’s office in Ukraine.
