Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Selensky has said that the information coming out of the peace talks is positive. However he acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Russian forces. The Ukrainian military says Russia is trying to mislead its troops.

“No one should misunderstand that Russia’s announcement that it will reduce its offensive near Kiev is part of Russia’s withdrawal of troops. We think Russia may have withdrawn a small number of troops from the city of Kiev. ” Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said.
