The head of the United Nations acknowledged the limits of the Security Council aimed at international peace.
Since the start of the war, the UN has been criticized for failing to show any meaningful performance in this war due to divisions among the permanent members of the Security Council and differences between member states.
Prior to his visit to Kiiu, he urged Russia to cooperate with the investigation of war crimes by visiting Bucha and Borodianka, where the massacre of civilians was suspected.
Meanwhile, right after the meeting between Secretary-General Guterres and President Zelensky ended, Russia fired missiles in various places, including in the northwestern part of Kiiu.
