India in hopes of qualifying for the Under-23 Asian Cup. Kyrgyzstan beat Republic in a shootout to finish second in Group E in the qualifying round. The UAE have qualified for the Junior Asian Cup to be held in Uzbekistan next year. Eligibility for group champions and top four runners-up. This is an opportunity for India. Neither team was able to score in regulation time against Kyrgyzstan. India won the shootout 4-2. Goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh Minni.
