This is the 4th taunt in a week already.

Four hours before Armed Forces Day, North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles from the Sunan area of Pyongyang into the East Sea.

He flew 350 km at an altitude of 30 km and the speed was found to be Mach 6.

The missile’s specifications are being analyzed, but if fired from Pyongyang, it will fall within the strike range as far as Gyeryongdae, South Chungcheong Province, where the Armed Forces Day commemoration ceremony was held.

“It is a serious provocation that harms the peace and security of the international community as well as on the Korean Peninsula, and is a clear violation of the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.”

It is unusual for North Korea to fire a missile on our Armed Forces Day.

The provocation appears to be aware of the show of advanced power as various weapons to counter North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats at the ceremony.

It is also a reaction against the fact that the South Korea-US joint exercise was followed by the three countries’ joint exercise in the East Sea this week.

Starting with one shot on the 25th of last month, which coincided with the training period, North Korea fired seven ballistic missiles into the East Sea at different locations and times for a week on the 28th and 29th , and to this day.

He also broke the practice of not provoking during the ROK-US training period, but it seems that they believed in nuclear weapons which even created legal grounds for their use and increased the intensity of the provocations.

“The intention appears to be to test ROK-US extended deterrence while having the character of an armed demonstration in response to the joint exercise.”

The presidential office held an emergency standing committee of the National Security Council, criticizing North Korea, saying, “North Korea is only focused on provocations, although the public’s livelihood is critical due to the economic hardship and quarantine crisis. ”
