We are always going to stand up for our allies and partners around the world, especially in the region, and we have called on North Korea to stop these ballistic missile launches. I would refer you to North Korea to see if they were going to stop it.”

“We urge North Korea to stop launching ballistic missiles,” Singh said.

According to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, North Korea had previously fired a short-range ballistic missile into the East Sea on the morning of the 17th, Korean Peninsula time.

North Korea’s ballistic missile provocation is the first in eight days since the 9th.

North Korea has conducted more than 60 missile test launches this year alone.
