Washington – US Air Force Chief of Staff Michael A. Minihan said the US could be at war with China within two years. He, who is also the head of the Air Mobility Command, said this in a letter to the soldiers. After the letter was widely circulated on social media, senior military officials clarified that Minihan’s response was not the official US position. The date written in the letter is 1 February, 2023.
In the letter, he says, “I believe we will be at war with China in 2025.” Chinese President Xi Jinping has been elected General Secretary of the Communist Party of China for the third time.
