The film industry in the country is worried that the increase in Kovid cases in the country will affect the film industry for the third time. Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Jersey’ has been postponed following the closure of cinemas in Delhi. The ‘RRR’ team also announced that they were changing their image. Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj’s release has been postponed. Valimai, a Tamil film starring Ajith Kumar, is one of the upcoming big releases in South Indian cinema in an environment where many big releases have changed. Earlier, the line-up had announced that Pongal would be released on January 13. But will this release date change under the changed circumstances? The film’s producer Boney Kapoor has come out with a response today after such rumors started circulating on social media.
Notice has been received from the manufacturer that there will be no change to the release. Bonnie Kapoor tweeted that the film will hit theaters worldwide on January 13 with Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. He also shared a short teaser of the film. The Hindi trailer of the movie will be released tomorrow.
With no big releases like RRR, Valimike has no competition at the box office. Earlier, the producers and Ajith Kumar had decided to release ‘Master’ only after the second wave of ‘Kovid’ and only after the situation was favorable. The film is directed by H Vinod and stars Ajith in the role of a policeman. After getting to know me, a movie is coming up in which Ajith Kumar will play the role of a policeman. Ajith’s movie is all set to hit the theaters after two and a half years. Meanwhile, the theater industry is worried that the release may be delayed due to the daily increase in Kovid cases.
