Harippad: Former Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala has said that he wanted to become the Chief Minister of Kerala but it did not happen and he will still contest the elections to achieve that goal. He was inaugurating the Merit Awards Conference organized by the Harippad Tajul Ulama Educational and Charitable Trust on Sunday.

He spoke about the desire of the Chief Minister after advising every student to dream to reach the top. ‘I wanted to be the chief minister. Did not. I mean, did I stop this show? I do not stop. To be continued. Will fight to the end. My determination is that one day I will achieve that goal. Will it end with the defeat of an election; No. So everyone should dream ‘- Chennithala said.

Trust Chairman UM Hanifa Musaliar presided over the function. AM Arif MP also attended the award ceremony.
