Vietnam fears Omicron, the country’s first local infection

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health reported the total number of COVID-19 cases. The total number of Omicron strains is 70, including 30 from Ho Chi Minh City, all of whom returned from overseas and underwent strict quarantine after arriving in Vietnam.
As of Jan. 18, Vietnam had a cumulative total of 2,062,128 COVID-19 cases, the health ministry reported. which originated from COVID-19 More than 2 million delta species since late April 2021.
