Rohan was the only batsman to score 85 runs for Kerala

Jaipur: Kerala was eliminated in the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarter finals. Kerala lost to Services. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, Kerala were bowled out for 175. With 115 balls to spare, Services reached the semi-finals with a seven-wicket victory.

Kerala started slowly. In the seventh over, Azruddin (7) and Jalaj Saxena (0) fell to Divesh Pathania. But Rohan Kunnummal and V Manoharan added 81 runs for the third wicket. Manoharan (41) took the wicket.

Sachin Baby (12), Sanju Samson (2), Vishnu Vinod (4), Sijomon (9), Manukrishnan (4), Basil Thampi (0) and Nidheesh (0) came back quickly. Rohan was the only batsman to score 85 runs for Kerala. For services, Divesh took three wickets while Abhishek Tewari and Pulkit Narang took two wickets each.

Kerala got off to a good start as they were bowled out for 175. Manukrishnan dismissed Nilke Lakhan Singh and Mumtaz Qadir for Services 12 runs. However, opener Ravi Chauhan (95) and skipper R.S. Paliwal (65) led the Services to victory without further ado.
