IPL 2021: RCB vs MI: Virat Kohli set a new record in the Indian Premier League match against Mumbai Indians. Kohli has surpassed 10,000 T20 runs. Kohli became the first Indian to achieve this feat.

With just 13 runs to go, Kohli played for Royal Challengers Bangalore today. Kohli, who scored a half-century in the match, also holds the record of 10,000 runs.

Kohli took 10,000 wickets in all international, domestic and franchise T20 matches at the Dubai International Stadium.

Kohli, playing in his 314th T20I match, hit a six off Indian batsman Jaspreet Bumra to cross 10,000 runs. Kohli reached the milestone in the fourth over of the match.

Kohli is set to step down as RCB captain at the end of this season. Before the T20I on Sunday, Kohli batted in 298 innings, scoring five centuries, 73 fifties and averaging 41.61. His highest individual score was 113 runs. His career strike rate was 134 plus.
