Virat Kohli is dangerous; The player will quickly change to the strength of 2016: Sunil Gavaskar

Mumbai: Sunil Gavaskar has said that Virat Kohli will return to his former glory at the Royal Challengers this time. Gavaskar hopes that Kohli will be the most dangerous batsman this time around, scoring 1000 runs more than he did in 2016.

The team should try to make full use of Kohli’s ability this time. A hero has to walk with 10 people in mind. Gavaskar, however, said that Kohli would benefit from the fact that a normal player does not have such pressure. In 2012, Kohli took over the helm of the Royal Challengers from New Zealand’s Daniel Vettori.

Gavaskar is confident that Virat and Maxwell will make up for the lack of AB de Villiers this time around. Maxwell is always an all-rounder who takes advantage of favorable conditions. Sunil Gavaskar said that if the mentality changes this time, the team will be sure to win. The Royal Challengers’ first match will be against the Punjab Kings on Sunday. The match will be played at the DY Patil Stadium.
