Karachi: Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has predicted that relations between the new coach of the Indian cricket team Rahul Dravid and Test captain Virat Kohli will soon deteriorate. Kohli, who lost his relationship with India and former coach Anil Kumble and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, told the Kaneria News Agency that his good relations with Dravid could not last long. Said in an interview.
We have also seen a rift in Kohli’s relationship with Ravi Shastri’s former Indian coach Anil Kumble. Kumble and Dravid are from South India. They are also the ambassadors of cricket itself and have a great place in world cricket. I have played against them. I know very well how cunning they are on the field. Similarly, Kohli’s statement in the 90th minute against a man like Sourav Ganguly, who changed the face of Indian cricket, was unwarranted.
“Speaking out against the legends is not going to help Kohli in any way,” Kaneria said. Kaneria said Kohli, who has not scored a century or an ICC trophy in international cricket in more than two years, should focus on his own game rather than the controversy surrounding his captaincy.
The new captain of the ODI team, Rohit Sharma, is also a great ambassador for cricket. Kaneria said that his friendship with Rahul Dravid was amazing.
