Visa process not completed; The Indian star will be late for the T20 World Cup

The cricketers are preparing for the T20 World Cup which is to be held in Australia on the 16th of this month. Last week, Umran Malik was included in the Indian team as a net bowler. But there are reports that the star’s trip to Australia will be delayed due to the delay in completing the visa process.

It is also said that Umran will bowl for Jammu and Kashmir in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament starting tomorrow. Umran will also be available to take part in Jammu and Kashmir’s first match against Meghalaya in Mohali tomorrow, said Bridadier Anil Gupta, administrator of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.

Meanwhile, it is stated that Umran can only play in tomorrow’s match. Once the visa process is completed, Umran will return to Australia along with Indian team reserve players like Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi and Mohammad Shami.

There are reports that Kuldeep Sen, who was selected as the Indian team’s net bowler along with Umran, will also delay going to Australia. It is not yet clear whether Kuldeep will play Syed Mushtaq Ali. Umran, Kuldeep and Mohammad Siraj, who were selected as net bowlers, were supposed to go to Australia on the 6th of this month.

Siraj is currently playing in the ODI series against South Africa. It is reported that Siraj will go to Australia along with the reserve players on the 12th of this month once the procedures are completed.

The Indian team, which left for Australia on the 6th, has camped in Perth. After playing two warm-up matches against Western Australia, the Indian players will travel to Brisbane on the 16th.

India play a warm-up match in Brisbane on the 17th. After this, India will also play a warm-up match against New Zealand. India’s first match in the World Cup is against Pakistan on the 23rd.
