OpenAI launches ChatGPT app for iOS users in more countries IOS users in 32 countries including India can now download and use the ChatGPT application. The company hopes that the arrival of the app will further increase the popularity of GPT Chat as the application is easier to use than the website.
OpenAI released the ChatGPT iOS application on May 18. With five lakh downloads happening in six days, the arrival of the ChatGPT app in America was a huge success. Chat GPT later reached 11 other countries such as France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Korea and the UK.
Now apart from India, Armenia, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Estonia, Ghana, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mauritania, Mauritius , Mexico, Morocco, Namibia, Nauru, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Slovenia, Tunisia and United Arab Emirates, ChatGPT iOS app has also been introduced.
OpenAI has provided the much awaited voice input application since the introduction of ChatGPT. OpenAI has used Whisper, an open source speech recognition system. From now on, voice input can be easily done in the ChatGPT app by clicking on the microphone icon in the message bar.
The main complaint of those who used Chat GPT through the website was that they had to open the browser every time after logging into the website to start using it. That site approach changed when it came to the iOS app. The ChatGPT app can now be opened with a single touch like any other app. ChatGPT app also takes no time to open the website.
Another advantage of an app without a website is that you can use it even when you are offline. You can view previous searches by selecting History from the menu icon. By selecting any of these, you will be able to view the details of your previous searches on ChatGPT even without an internet connection.
