Volleyball Empress Kim Yeon-kyung makes a comeback in the V-League… 1 year contract with Heungkuk Life Insurance

Volleyball Empress Kim Yeon-kyung is back in the V-League.

Kim Yeon-kyung signed a contract with Heungkuk Life Insurance for a total of 700 million won (an annual salary of 450 million, options 250 million), the highest amount for the women’s professional volleyball team.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who returned to Korea after completing individual training in the United States at the end of May, decided to make a V-League comeback after careful consideration at the club’s active recommendation.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who wore Heungkuk Life’s uniform again, said, “I’m happy to meet Korean fans wearing a pink uniform at the newly relocated home stadium, Samsan Gymnasium, Incheon. I am looking forward to it. I want to prepare well with my teammates and play volleyball that can bring joy to the fans. We ask for your interest and support from the volleyball fans.”

Kim Yeon-kyung, who is currently undergoing individual training in Korea, will join the team in early July and begin preparations for the new season in earnest.
