Volleyball Empress Kim Yeon-kyung (34) returns to the V-League.

On the 21st, professional volleyball team Heungkuk Life (owner Lim Hyeong-jun) officially announced the signing of Kim Yeon-kyung.

On the 20th, the club and the players signed a contract for a total of 700 million won (an annual salary of 450 million won and an option of 250 million won), the highest amount for the women’s professional volleyball team.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who returned to Korea after completing individual training in the United States at the end of May, decided to make a V-League comeback after careful consideration at the club’s active recommendation.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who returned to Heungkuk Life Insurance after a year, said, “I’m happy to meet Korean fans wearing a pink uniform at the newly relocated home stadium, Samsan Gymnasium, Incheon. “I want to play volleyball that can bring joy to the fans by preparing well with my teammates. I ask for your interest and support from the volleyball fans,” he said.
