Vertigo Games, which specializes in developing and publishing VR games under Koch Media Group, continues to expand the world of the 4-player action FPS “After the Fall”. Following the “Horde Mode Update” launched on March 10, it officially launched the “Boulevard Update” revision. The Boulevard Update is part of After the Fall’s Frontrunner Season, which is a free download for Meta Quest 2, PSVR and PC VR players.
Vertigo Games also released a trailer that highlights the new harvest and run missions, player SKIN system, light machine guns, and enemies in the “Boulevard Update”.
The ever-expanding cold and apocalyptic world
The Boulevard Update follows the Horde Mode Update, which added two Survival Mode maps and a revolver. The “Boulevard Update” adds a ton of new content, including the focused “Boulevard Harvest Run”. This map sends players to the frozen streets of Hollywood to challenge snowmen of all difficulty levels. A new species of special snowman has appeared: “The Skimmer”, and players must take a different approach to knock it down to get rich rewards. To this end, a new light machine gun will be added to the game.
The April update for After the Fall’s Frontrunner Season will include the PvP mode “Free-for-All,” the PvP map “The Stockpile,” and new weapons. Vertigo Games has prepared more gear for players, including consumables, devices, and special weapon SKIN.
VR (PC VR, PlayStation VR, Quest 2) action FPS After the Fall is an intense 4-player co-op game at its core. Players initially set off from a shared space that can accommodate up to 32 cross-platform players as a team of 4 venture into the ruins of post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, wielding weapons through real-life action. To gain an edge over their enemies, players scavenge in a VR world filled with undead and new discoveries. When players are ready, they are greeted by waves of enemies in the competitive PvP arena “Tundradome” and in the survival mode “Horde Mode”.
