VRFPS “BOELAB” that realistically reproduces the laws of physics will be released! – Mogu Live

The release date of the sequel “BOELAB” of the VRFPS “BONEWORKS” which faithfully reproduces the laws of physics has been decided. The release date is Thursday, September 29th. A new trailer has also been released.

“BOELAB” is a new work by Stress Level Zero, who worked on the VRFPS “BONEWORKS”, which attracted a lot of attention for its realistic physics. It includes a detailed behavioral implementation realized by the same advanced physics computational processing as the previous work. In addition to the Meta Quest 2 version, a PC (Steam) version will also be released. The original Quest cannot play this work.

From the released preview video, you can check out the location of solving physical puzzles and how to drop in the air using gadgets. Battle scenes are also included, and you can see scenes where you fight enemies using an assault rifle or use a trash can as a shield.

In addition, “BOELAB” has introduced an “avatar swap” gimmick to change the characters used in the game. Here is a summary of the game on Steam:

After discovering MythOS City’s underground labs, you’ll gain access to a variety of game settings including arenas, obstacle courses, tactical trials, sandboxes, experimental modes, and user-generated levels. By collecting items, avatars, and clues in these locations, you can progress through a mysterious story.

“BOELAB” was announced at the “Meta Quest 2022 Gaming Expo” in April 2022, but no major follow-up reports have been published since then. What kind of work is this work about to be released? I’m looking forward to it.
