[２９日 ロイター] – Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian private military company Wagner, said on the 29th that not only the Ukrainian army but also the soldiers sent by Wagner suffered serious injuries in the fighting for the Bakhmut battlefield in eastern Ukraine.
“Today’s battle in Bakhmut almost destroyed the Ukrainian army, but unfortunately Wagner’s side also suffered serious casualties,” the voicemail said.
According to Russian officials, Russian forces are still on the offensive in street fighting inside Bakhmut, but they are not in the phase of besieging Bakhmut and forcing Ukrainian forces to withdraw, as was expected several weeks ago back, I’m not quite there yet.
British military intelligence said on Friday that Ukrainian forces had succeeded in pushing Russian forces back from one of the main supply routes to Bakhmut.
