Kid Rock paid tribute to Eddie Money with the performance of the singer in 1982, “Shakin”, at the DTE Energy Music Theater, a center in the Detroit area where Money made 38 times during his career. Detroit News reports.
“I'm sure you heard that Eddie Money was lost today,” said Rock to the crowd on Friday during the song bridge. “And not only was Detroit the second house, I know that many of you are aware that Pine Knob was his house completely. He opened this place every summer for years. So we wanted to come tonight and praise him. So rock on Eddie. ”
According to Michigan Live, Money at the DTE Energy Music Theater each year since 1992, even making the concert concert at the center.
